Terms of Service

Effective October 18, 2026

These terms cover every order and free check from Role Rewritten. Role Rewritten is operated by Jon King, a sole proprietor based in Tampa, Florida ("I," "me," "Role Rewritten"). By placing an order or requesting a free check, you agree to these terms.

What I provide

• Resume packages: a rewritten resume in the design you choose, a plain version for online applications, and anything else included in the package you ordered. The Resume and LinkedIn package adds LinkedIn profile sections and recruiter outreach email templates. The Executive package adds a cover letter, a 30-minute strategy call, and a second resume version for another target role.
• Add-ons: job tailoring, cover letters, interview coaching, and offer review, as listed when you order.
• Interview coaching: a 45-minute video mock interview with written feedback.
• Free resume audit: an automated review of your resume that scores it and points out what to fix. It's generated by AI and isn't reviewed by me before you see it, so treat it as a starting point, not a final word. It's free and comes with no obligation.

The package contents and prices shown when you order are the ones that apply to your order.

How AI is used

AI tools help me write first drafts from your answers. I review and edit every line before anything reaches you. I don't add experience, titles, employers, dates, numbers, or credentials you didn't give me. If something is missing or unclear, I'll ask you rather than guess.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate, truthful information. You're responsible for the accuracy of everything in your final documents, so read them before you use them.
• Tell me if anything should be left out, such as a current employer during a confidential search.
• Only upload documents you have the right to share.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars and are paid in full when you order. Payments are processed by Stripe; I never see or store your card details. Stripe sends your receipt.

Delivery

• Resume packages: within 24 hours of finishing your questions, Monday through Friday. Orders finished on a Saturday or Sunday are delivered by the end of Monday.
• Executive package: the 24 hours starts after our strategy call.
• Free resume audit: results on screen, usually in about a minute.
• Delays: if I need more information, I'll email you right away, and the 24 hours starts again once I have your answer. If I ever miss a delivery time, I'll tell you when to expect your files.

Files are delivered by email.

Revisions

You can ask for as many revisions as you need within 14 days of delivery. Revisions refine your documents for the target role you ordered. Changing to a different target role is a new order or the job tailoring add-on.

60-day free rewrite

If you've been applying with your new resume and you're not getting responses within 60 days of delivery, email me and I'll rewrite it free, once per order.

Refunds

• Resume packages and add-ons: a full refund any time before I start writing. Once I've started, orders aren't refundable, and revisions and the 60-day free rewrite are how I make things right.
• Interview coaching and other calls: a full refund any time before the session.
• How to ask: email me at jon@rolerewritten.com. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe.

Coaching sessions and calls

You can reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. If you miss a session without notice, the session is used and isn't refundable. If I need to reschedule, you can pick a new time or get a full refund.

When I may decline an order

I may decline or cancel any order or free check, for example when I have a conflict of interest. If I do, you get a full refund.

No guarantee of a job

I'll do my best work to help you get interviews, but hiring decisions belong to employers. I don't guarantee interviews, offers, or a particular salary.

Your documents

Once your order is paid, the documents I write for you are yours to use, change, and share however you like. I won't use your documents or details as examples or testimonials without your written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost wages or job opportunities.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
